Memorial service will be held at Ridouts's Valley Chapel, Thursday, September 26th, 5pm - 7 pm.
A celebration of her life will be held at "The Farm" September 28 at 5:30 pm a special remembrance of her beautiful spirit.
Gail was born in Gadsden, Alabama, September 26th, 1942. She attended high school at Gadsden High School. She earned her degree in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She was the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Cooper Green Hospital for 20+ years. She also worked at Norwood Clinic for over ten years.
Her life's many adventures included running track, playing softball, bowling, and she was a star majorette, but most of all she was MOTHER. She enjoyed movies, reading, fishing, playing cards and most importantly time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bill Jones and Martha Beschi. Gail is survived by her husband Bill Parker; step-father Richard Beschi; former husband Tommy Smith; four brothers Bill, Mike and Barry Jones, and Dennis Dillard; six children: Cheryl Flatt, Pam Keenum, Regina Ferrell, Frank Smith, Mitch and Brooke Parker; seven grandchildren Adam and Justin Keenum, Russell, Rachel, Riley and Reagan Tindol, and Dakota Smith; three great-grandchildren Luke, Lakyn, and Brooklyn Keenum.
