Dorothy ("Dee Ann") Cavaleri Coffman of Madison, Alabama, was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 25, 1961, to E.E. ("Jack") Cavaleri, III and Ann Wainwright Cavaleri, and passed away on October 24, 2016. She was educated in the Mountain Brook school system, and graduated with a B.S. in Business from Auburn University, where she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. She worked many years in the insurance industry, and then enjoyed a second career of raising her precious daughter, Emily. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, John Robert ("Bob") Coffman, III; daughter, Emily Ann Coffman; mother, Ann Wainwright Cavaleri; sister, Laura Cavaleri Sappington; sister-in-law, Carol Coffman Robison; niece, Margaret Ann Sappington; and nephews, James Douglas Sappington (Helen), Dr. Joseph Evans Robison (Stephanie) and Robert Russell Robison (Stacy). Dee Ann greatly cherished her family and friends, and is remembered for her contagious smile, her infectious laugh, and her gentle, loving spirit. The family wishes to thank the many loving and caring doctors, nurses and members of the healthcare team at Huntsville Hospital and Clearview Cancer Institute. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, Alabama. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery, The Reverend Charles Youngson officiating.
