Brenda Wesson

Brenda Slater Wesson, 66, of Alabama, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1958 to Geraldine and Robert Slater, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Michael Slater.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Dan Wesson, her brother, Roger Slater, her adoring children, Shelby Formentano, Kendall Wesson, and Jadie Patterson; and her cherished grandson, Finn Formentano, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Brenda was a woman of warmth, kindness, and an unshakable love for her family and friends. She had a special gift for finding beauty in the everyday and creating lasting memories with those she loved. As The Beatles so beautifully put it in one of her favorite songs, *In My Life*:

*"All these places had their moments

With lovers and friends, I still can recall

Some are dead and some are living

In my life, I've loved them all."*

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel, located at 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL, 35209, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 AM. Flowers may be sent to the chapel at the same address.
