He was born in the log cabin of his parents, Joseph Arthur and Grace ( Munch ) Morrow on May 19, 1930.
He is survived by his two sons and their wives; Grover and Anna Morrow, and Michael and Liz Morrow, two sisters; Shirley Smith and Bonnie Lawson, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
His passing was preceded by his wife, Maxine Morrow, his parents, one brother; Morris Morrow, and one sister; Ethel Abbott.
Joe was an active member and deacon of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was also a former Masonic Grand Master and a contributing member of the New Bloomfield Historical Society. Joe was a member of Gideon's International for many years. He retired from the Missouri Department of Revenue on July 1, 1994. When he wasn't working on the family farm or riding his Ford 8N tractor, he was traveling to Bluegrass festivals.
He will be deeply missed by all, until we are all reunited once again in our Father's House.
The services will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, New Bloomfield, Missouri on December 15th.with visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Celebration of his life will begin at 12:00PM with the interment following at the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, New Bloomfield, Missouri.
