He will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Valerie (Lawson) McKee of Holts Summit, Mo.; his 6 children, Michele Gray of Lebanon, Mo., Milisa McKee of Cabool, Mo., Vanessa Lawson of Fulton, Mo., Kristina Isidro & Spouse, Jeff Brumback, of New Bloomfield, Mo., Ben McKee, Jr. Of Jefferson City, Mo., and Cassandra Tucker of Fulton, Mo.; and his son-in-law, Decarlo Tucker; his 9 grandchildren, Mary & husband Andrew Colbert, Jay Gray, Micheal Gray, Vincent McKee, Dorian Ellis, Jessica Northup, Dania Isidro, Emanuel Isidro, and Aiden McKee; and 8 beautiful great-grandchildren, Elijah Tucker, Mya Tucker, Mason Tucker, Brantley McKee, Malachi Mckee, Ryerson Mckee, Derek Ellis, and Nicholas Gray; and his only surviving brother, Roger McKee of Mountain Grove, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna (Shelly) Price; his father Don McKee; his sister, Vickie McKee-Strong; his brothers, Elmer and Raymond McKee, as well as many family and friends.
Ben loved to write music, celebrating his walk with the Lord and spreading His gospel of joy and peace. He enjoyed playing golf with his nephew, David Clark and wife, Kim Clark of Jefferson City, Mo., and his father-in-law, Gene Lawson, who preceded him in death.
He is loved and will be missed by all those who knew him, including his church brothers and sisters, who remember him for his amazing musical talent, his love of the Lord, as well as his teaching and preaching of the Word of God.
His struggles here on the Earth have ended. His earthly life with family and friends has ended but his eternal life with his Lord and Savior, has just begun. We send him off with Love, Peace, and all the Blessings he so richly deserves! We will see you soon! We love you, always!
