Beatrice “Bea” Ann Suhr (Hollink), 73, formerly of Lyndonville passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Unity Health. She was born in Brockport, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Eva Hollink and has been a lifetime resident of the area.
She was a seamstress for many years owning her shop, Bea’s Golden Needle in Spencerport; and also owned the Barnyard Restaurant in Somerset. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the organ and accordion, fantasy football, playing cards, and loved animals. Bea was a wrestling mom to 4 Section Five Champion sons and an avid Cleveland Browns Fan.
Proud mother of 5 children, Paul (Hermine) of Spencerport, Harold (Joanne) of Lyndonville, Heidi (Mike) Bitterman of FL, John (Meera) of Hilton, Richard (Jenn) of Churchville; 13 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Brother, William (Barbara) Hollink of Hilton; Sisters, Rebecca (Rod) Hughson of Kendall, Shirley Hollink of Hamlin; special friend, Wally Gilbert; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by longtime companion Ronald Mapes and husband, John Suhr.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Bea’s life Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 1-5pm at White Birch Golf Course, Rt 63, Lyndonville, NY.
