Wampa J. Bitz, age 87. Of Holland, Ohio died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Fenton, Michigan on October 9, 1927 to David J. and Zelma (Cornell) Irwin. She later married Earl W. Bitz Sr. who preceded her in death on February 17, 2007. Wampa was employed by the University of Toledo as a Custodian for 21 years before retiring. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Wampa is survived by her sons, Earl (Judy) Bitz Jr. and David (Debi) Bitz; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Al Irwin, Duane Irwin and Roy Lacy as well as her sister, Dina Fox. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Conrad Lacy; sister, Nancy Lacy and brothers, Sonny and Winston Lacy. There will be no visitation and services will remain private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to do so to her family.
