Marlene Joyce Vanden Bosch

Marlene was born in Holland July 26, 1937 to Lewis and Lena (Bosma) Tubergen. She was a lifelong member of North Holland Reformed Church. Marlene was a member of Corky’s Pals, making quilts and crocheting, and will be remembered for her famous almond bread coffee cake. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Verlin; children: Laura (Randy) Pluister, Randy Vanden Bosch, Kalvin (Terri) Vanden Bosch, Valerie (Gary) VanKampen; 15 Grandchildren; 20 Great-grandchildren;

brothers and sisters: John (Penny) Tubergen, Linda (Wayne) Elenbaas, Rosemary Busscher, Sally (David) Denuyl. Many extended family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Marlene’s life will be 11:00am, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at North Holland Reformed Church, 12050 New Holland, Holland, MI 49424. Rev. Steven DeVries will officiate. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service Wednesday, and immediately following the service at North Holland Church

Memorial contributions in Marlene’s memory may be given to the North Holland Church Quilt Ministry.
