“Just think of stepping on shore and finding its Heaven. Think of touching a hand and finding its God’s; Think of breathing new air and finding it celestial, just think of waking up in glory and finding your home.”
They are survived by sons and daughter-in-laws Fred and Missy Walters; Gary and Chris Walters; and Linda Walters; Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They are also survived by Ann’s sister Sylvia VanDenBosch; Austin’s sister, Marilyn Dykstra; in-laws, Norma Walters, and Pastor Audley Boeve. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive them.
Austin and Ann were preceded in death by their son Glenn Jay Walters and great-granddaughter Jenna Walters.
Both Austin and Ann were charter members of Christ Memorial Reformed Church. Ann was employed for many years at Prince Corporation (JCI), and Austin retired from Brook’s Products. Austin was in the National Guard and also served on the Ottawa County Reserves and was a member of the Ottawa County Posse.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 26 at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon at Lakeshore Memorial Services – 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424. Pastor Carole Aardsma will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Evergreen Commons Adult Day Center or to Christ Memorial Reformed Church’s Youth Missions.
