Nancy was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 30 years. She was the office manager for Joseph A. Motto MD. She was a member of the Hixson Eastern Stars, enjoyed artistic painting, cooking, reading mystery novels, and caring for various animals, her dogs and parrots.
Nancy was a precious gift from G-d who loved and tried to help all people as well as a person who would open her home to care for many stray animals. She was a loving mother, the strength and support behind her husband, and adored deeply by her husband. She suffered for many years from the savagery of Multiple Sclerosis. The ravages of the disease took away her eye sight and then slowly her ability to speak and to move. Although she had intolerable pain she would always try to put a happy face on to life. She was a joy to be with all the times. She would always try to go out of her way to help others including strangers. A wife, a partner, best friend, mother and love, she will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph A. Motto MD of Chattanooga; her son, Richard I. Motto of Park City Utah and her daughter, Danyel JC Motto of Charleston, North Carolina.
