Nancy Anne Cunningham

Nancy Anne Huebner Cunningham, 57, of Red Bank, Tennessee transitioned from her earthly life at her home, June 18, 2016. She was born October 8, 1958 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. After moving with her family to Elizabethtown, Kentucky followed by Crystal Lake, Illinois, she finally moved to Hixson, Tennessee in 1973, where she graduated from Hixson High School in 1976. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and later earned a Bachelor of Science from Covenant College. She was most recently employed as the production scheduler for Blue Planet Foods (McKee). She was previously employed by Bakeline group, and was employed for many years at Olan Mills.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood Joseph and Betty Ann Huebner, and by her son, Joshua Lee Roberts.

Nancy’s kindness, wit, and courage touched the lives of all who knew her. She was grace.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jessy Cole Cunningham; son, Ethan Cody Cunningham, both of Chattanooga; life partner of 13 years, Dennis Reynolds; brother, Jerome Huebner of Rossville, Georgia; cousins, John Payne, Mary Payne, Cathy Chambers, Peggy Montgomery, Christine Snyder, Brian Trossen, David Payne, and Pat Kirby.

The family will receive friends from 1-6 on Tuesday, June 21 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A funeral honoring her life and legacy, will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 22, at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charles Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Depasquale and Dr. Todd Boren and the entire medical and administrative staff of Chattanooga Program of Women’s Oncology and Gynecological Services for eight years of committed support during Nancy’s illness, and to the staff of Caris Hospice Care for end of life support.
