She was born in Athens, Alabama to John & Elsie Pressnell and lived the majority of her life in Chattanooga, TN.
Mary was preceded in death by husbands, Earl Towe and Bill Brooks; son, Steven Towe; sister, Margie Frye; Brother, John Pressnell.
She is survived by sons, Bob Towe (Norma) of Hixson, TN and Rick Towe (Karen Wheaton) of Hamilton, AL; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three stepdaughters, Shirley Nichols, Debra Reeves, BJ Howell; stepson, Larry Brooks (Debbie).
Mary always had a smile on her face and loved her family very much. She was a member of Freedom Church in East Ridge, TN.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Thursday October 3, 2024, and 1-3 PM on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel in Hixson, TN.
The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Hamilton Memorial Gardens will occur immediately after the funeral service.
