Margaret Louise Everett Higdon, 90, passed away Tuesday, September 18 at a local hospital. A native of Dayton, TN, she was a long-time Chattanooga resident. Margaret was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson and Mabel Everett; husband, Leslie Higdon and siblings Haskell and James Everett and Catherine Hartline.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy (William) Sisk; son, Steve (Debbie) Higdon; grandchildren, Jeff (Melinda) Sisk, April Sisk, Jonathan Higdon and Benjamin Higdon; great-grandchildren, Will, Hadley and Truett Sisk and siblings Glenn Everett, Barbara (Jim) Christian and Pat (Johnny) Culberson.
The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 7 PM Thursday and from 10 AM to 11 AM Friday at the North Chapel. A service will be held Friday at 11 AM at North Chapel with Rev. Bert Jones officiating; burial to follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Red Bank Baptist Church, 4000 Dayton Blvd Chattanooga, TN 37415.
