She gained her heavenly wings and has reunited with many loved ones in the garden where she loved to spend her time. She was tremendously proud of her children and was known to never meet a stranger and make lifelong friends anywhere she went. Growing up, Lisa was a well-known fearless and competitive swimmer and diver that began at the Brainerd Hills Swim Club. She remained active in the swimming community for many years. She was known to cook a perfect holiday meal and light up any dance floor.
She is preceded in death by many angels that we know met her along her journey to heaven; to include her mother and father, Colleen and James Wallace Beard, beloved Aunts Wilma (Uncle Tom) Bond, and Willadeen (Jack) Fortenberry.
Survivors include her son Eric Burns, daughter Wendy Beard Boran, grandchildren Jasmine and Cannon Burns, Robbie (Kimberly) Boran; sister Debbie Concannon; cousins, Janice (Gary) Bond and their children, Jeremy (Sarah) Lane and Samuel Bond; niece, Erin (Brandon) Bolinger and their daughter, Lennon; her fur babies, Cody and Floppy and several family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, April 26, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services will be held for the family only.
In honor of Lisa you can make donations to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or East Ridge Animal Shelter, 1015 Yale Street, East Ridge, TN 37412.
