She was of the Catholic faith, and attended St. Jude Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and always loved high-end fashion. She worked in high-end retail for many years, from Loveman’s, to Pickett’s in downtown Chattanooga, to the opening of Parisian at Hamilton Place Mall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Mylek, and her parents, Robert Robedeau, and Alice Donovan Robedeau.
Kathy is survived by her son Christopher (Wendy) Mylek, daughter Mary (Eric) Hurley, daughter Holly (Rick) Mylek Walker, grand-daughter Alexis Hurley, and grandson William Ortwein.
The family wishes to thank Sherry Bean and Lexie Finkle of Hearth Hospice, as they have been a true blessing to the family. They also wish to thank Carolyn Botner for her unfathomable kindness and help during the last weeks of Kathy’s life on this earth. May she rest in peace and be joined with her husband Richard forever in eternity.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday, November 15, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services for Kathy will follow at 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery.
