John D. Milliken, 77, of Hixson, passed away Thursday night, January 27, 2022. He is survived by his wife Thelma of 57 years, two daughters, Melissa and Kim and two grandchildren Madison and Dane. His parents were Alexander and Rena Milliken of Harrison. He was the youngest of eight children: Margarete, Ann, Kenneth, Jeanette, Helen, David and Robert.
A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist-North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:30 AM, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Massey officiating. A committal service with military honors will occur Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
