John David was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jean Hall and David and June Linville.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Chris and Rosa Linville; daughter, Skylar Linville; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Drew Harvey; nephews, Bryce and Conor Harvey; and several other close friends and family.
John David was a graduate of Red Bank High School (’96) and University of TN-Chattanooga. JD, as his friends knew him, had a personality and natural charisma to light up a room and make friends no matter the situation. His smile and laugh were infectious to everyone around him. He played several sports in his youth and was an avid sports fan, especially of the TN Volunteers and Atlanta Braves. His fun loving and generous spirit will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29 at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel from 1-3 pm with a celebration of life service immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in John David’s name to the Hamilton County Baptist Association – HaCoBa Care Ministires at www.baptistassociation.com.
