Mary Jo Brock, 87, of Cleveland died Monday, February 01, 2016. She was born April 26, 1928 in Chattanooga to the late J. Wheeler and Alice Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Paul Brock, grandson, Jeremy Scott Stater; sister, Dody Farr.
She was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock and her husband were very active with the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. She loved to work in the yard especially with her flowers.
Survivors include two children, Leland (Brenda) Brock and Aletha (Terry) Brock Jones; brother, Jess Henry; grandchildren, Bryant (Chrissy) Brock and Jonathan (Tonya) Brock; great grandchildren Gavin Brock, Andrew Brock and Jacob Brock; special friends at Brookdale Assisted Living; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held 12:30 pm Wednesday, February 3 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5-8 Tuesday evening.
