George, I miss working with you! I will always remember your smile and hearing you joke around with us at the office. When I transferred to my current office you wrote me the nicest card that I still have. The world is a sadder place without you in it, though I am thankful you are whole and healthy and happy in heaven.  

He was a great Pastor..in fact the best I ever had. He was a brother in Christ. He taught me so much in my time with him as we served the Lord as,a family at ABUNDANT LIFE. He was an awesome teacher and encouraged me to teach the WORD also. To say he had a good sense of humor is an understatement. Im sure he's having an awesome time talking to Jesus. We will see him again...He's home.

GOD BLESS YOU BUTCH YOU WERE ALWAYS SUCH A BLESSING OF GOD TO BE AROUND. THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL WORDS OF WISDOM THAT GOD GAVE THROUGH YOU AND JUST FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP AND ENCOURAGEMENT. HEAVEN HAS TRULY  GAINED A BLESSING. WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THY LORD.  I PRAY THAT THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT HEAL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THROUGH THIS TEMPORARY TIME OF SEPARATION TILL WE ARE ALL REUNITED WHEN OUR LORD JESUS COMES AGAIN VERY SOON. Working with George over the last six years has been an honor. He commanded a room, not with muscle (although he would disagree), but with his humor and snappy wit. He had a knack for discovering hilarity, breaking tensions, and just making people smile- George dressing up as Batman for Halloween comes to mind! He would sit in the center of the conference room during meetings and start up a conversation with anyone. Soon, everyone in the room would be listening and George would share one of his puns or jokes. A jester archetype to the core, George used laughter to teach, guide, and focus on the journey rather than the problems in life.

	George was also thoughtful and caring. He would open his office, speak with people about their lives and became interconnected as if he walked the journey with them. George would take care of the team by bringing in doughnuts, making hot chocolate, offering tiny gifts here and there as a special way of saying, “Thank you” and “You Matter”. He was very thoughtful in this way. I remember a specific time when the morale of the office was low and everyone was quite stressed. George went from room-to-room and offered stickers of encouragement, specific to each member of the team. 

George was such an intricate part of the office and the environment will not be the same without his presence. I remain shocked at the news of his passing. I will miss the many nerdy discussions about Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones that we had together. I am reminded of one quote from Lord of the Rings by the character Queen Galadriel, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future”. George spread his love and passion to others. He touched people and forever changed lives. My thoughts and prayers remain with the family, friends, and all the people that George has inspired in his life during this most difficult time. 


What an awesome man.  What an incredible loss for everyone who knew him.  He has been there to support me through several hard places in my life and I will forever remember him with love and admiration.  My prayers are with his family who will forever miss him.  The staff at Rhea Mental Health is at such a loss wondering how to fill our George shaped hole that  is left in all our hearts.  We love you guys and are here for you whenever you need us, Ms Sandy!
