Freddie "Buddie" J. Anderson

He was the son of the late John Boyd Anderson and Caroline Oliver Anderson and was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Cora Lee Carson Anderson, daughter, Deborah Jo Sims, grandson, Steven Brumlow, great granddaughter, Morgan Jones, four brothers and two sisters.

Buddie worked for the City of Chattanooga over 40 years as a concrete crew foreman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing miniature golf, bingo and croquet.

He is survived by his children, Terry (Pattie) Anderson, of Hixson, Cindy (Gene) Kelley, of Ooltewah, Donna (Billy) Brumlow of Chattanooga, James (Darlene) Anderson, of Whitwell, David (Tammy) Anderson, of Trenton, son-in-law, Ronnie Sims, of Jasper, fourteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two sister-in-laws, Bea and Delores Anderson, both of Rossville, best friends, Lewis and Virginia Holloway, of Jasper, and his four legged friend Benji, his dog.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, September 17, 2020, in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Devotion.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers Teleia Woodruff and Kenya Sigh, of Riverdale Health Group, for the loving and wonderful care they provided.
