Frank Lee and Sue Anderson Kilpatrick, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2023. They both grew up in the hills of Murphy, North Carolina and were high school sweethearts. After graduating one year apart from Murphy High School they relocated to the Chattanooga area where Frank went on to work for Covenant Transport and Sue went to college at Tennessee Wesleyan. After college, Sue went to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield in their Legal Department. After retiring from Covenant, Frank went on to start his own business which was K & K Floors.
They were preceded in death by both sets of parents.
Left behind to cherish their memory are their son, Wally Kilpatrick and grandson, Kyle Kilpatrick. Also surviving are Sue’s sister, Pat (Bill) Verner and her nephew, Chris Anderson
A Celebration of their Life service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:30 am at Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church, 1543 Mercer St, Lupton City, TN 37351.
Family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
