Mrs. Cheryl Boudreaux Gifford passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Cheryl was a native of Baton Rouge, LA, born on December 14, 1957. Cheryl was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church. She was the Executive Secretary and Assistant Program Director for WZPH Radio in Zephyr Hills, FL. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Lucy Boudeaux, and Joseph and Bena Hotard; her mother, Nona Hotard Boudreaux; and her brother, Michael Ernest Boudreaux. Survivors include her husband, David Gifford; father, Ridley Boudreaux; daughter, Sandra Gifford Hood (Chad); son, Ramon Christopher Gifford; son, Timothy Allen Gifford; sister Donna Simons (Martin); sister, Linda Ellison (William); brother, Thomas Boudreaux (Carmen); sister-in-law, Edna Boudreaux; 4 grandchildren, Aprile, Pamala, Alexander, and Victoria; numerous nephews and nieces; and her step brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17th from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm and on Thursday, May 18th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tony Walliser officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
