She was born to Allen and Trula Agee on January 27, 1949, in Chattanooga. Brenda was a graduate of Hixson High School. Her greatest love was for her family, friends, and her fur baby, Elvis. Brenda's passion was taking care of rescued animals. Her laugh was contagious, genuine, and heart felt. Brenda was a true friend, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who was known to lighten up anyone's day.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Burcham; parents, listed above; and sister, Wanda Bryson.
Survivors include daughter, Christy Lewis; son, Tommy Couch Jr.; grandchildren, Morgan (Mitchell) Rankhorn and Cristian (Ella) Lewis; great-grandson, Sawyer Lewis; siblings, Ronnie (Debbie) Agee and Fred (Susan) Agee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, P.O. Box 9, Hixson, TN 37343. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM. A committal will follow the funeral service Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 TN-153, Chattanooga, TN 37343.
