Betty Jean Miller Webb

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billy Webb; her daughter, Karen Elaine Smith; sister, Fay Fuller; and her parents, Edward Miller and Nola Curl.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gwen (Michael) Ward, Steve (Tammy) Webb, and son-in-law, Mike Smith; grandchildren, Kendall (Brad) Rogers, Lindsay (Kenny) Hammontree, Andrew Ward, Jordan Vazquez, and William Webb; great grandchildren, Jackson Hammontree, Clara Hammontree, and Berkeley Rogers. She is also survived by her sister, Jennifer Parton of Talladega, AL and several beloved nieces and nephews. She adored her family and we all adored her.

She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.

She took great delight in nature especially in her flower gardens, and watching the bluebirds, cardinals, and hummingbirds. She was a wonderful cook and everyone enjoyed dining at her table. She was excellent at crafting of all kinds and she enjoyed participating at community craft fairs.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Brother Gene Fuller and Reverend Bill Harvey officiating. A committal service will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family and friends will be from 12:00 until 2:00.

Her family would like to thank all the wonderful, loving staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and her kind nurse, Lauren Kirk, as well as Hearth Hospice for their compassionate care.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church, Hearth Hospice, or Bethel Bible Village.
