Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a very giving person and leaves behind many family members and friends to cherish her memory.
A life long resident of the Chattanooga area was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She had been employed by Access Drugs.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maude Lowe; sisters, Virginia Lambert, Mary Roberson, Rassie Schuminoff; brothers, Earl, Ray, Buck, Joe and Bud Lowe.
Survivors are her daughter, Janice Lynn (Leslie) Lambert of Hixson, and her son, Randy Joe (Belinda Jane) Hutton of Soddy Daisy; four grandchildren, Davina Howard, Erica Hill, Joseph and Jonathan Lambert; two great grandchildren, Aidan Lambert and Roxie Hill, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 3, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 6 P.M. Sunday and from 12 Noon until 1 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
