Lynn Duane Knudtson

Lynn Knudtson passed away October 18, 2014 at the age of 63. Lynn was born September 15, 1951 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Kenneth and Geneva (Schultz) Knudtson. Lynn was a veteran of the US Air Force. On June 19, 1976, Lynn married Robin Ray in Hamilton, NY. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to golf, bowl and work in his basement on all sorts of woodworking projects. Lynn and Robin enjoyed travelling, taking care of their gardens, and spending time with their children and granddaughters.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 38 years, Robin. He is also survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Aaron) Gillett, son, Shane (Vicki) Knudtson, and two granddaughters, Casandra and Evelynn. Lynn is also survived by his mother Geneva Knudtson; sisters Julie (Michael) Rohwer and Peggy (David) Schomburg; brothers Michael (Linda) Knudtson, Jeff (Sharon) Knudtson, and David Knudtson; and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was predeceased by his father M. Kenneth Knudtson.

A Catholic Mass will be held at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd., Highland, MI 48356 on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 10:00 AM, with the family receiving friends and relatives beginning at 9:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Lynn’s memory to Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor (www.rmh-annarbor.org).
