I can still hear Jeanene’s infectious laugh!
Devoting her whole life to her kids, I can only imagine how busy (and happy) she is in heaven watching her children and grandchildren  and being so proud of them.  A love like hers never dies!

I am so very sorry to hear of Jeanene’s passing.  We taught Sunday school preschool at St. Suzanne’s in the late ‘70’s and she was such a dear friend—always laughing.  She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren—such a wonderful mom and grandma!  With a love like hers, she will always be with you—surrounding you with her love❤️. Jeanene and I were friends that met at work.  I was lucky enough to spend several hours working with Jeanene in the infant room telling stories about our lives.  I am so thankful to have had a friend like her in my life & there will never be another person like Jeanene❤️.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Jeanene and I worked together many years ago at The Learning Tree in Livonia. She was such a joy to be around, very loving, caring and wonderful person. Praying for comfort for the family.

Jeanene has always been a great friend and a wonderful mother and grandma to her children.   She had the best advice whenever we talked about family, children or life in general.  I have many lovely memories of her and I was honored that she shared her girlies with me while they were growing up.  Now she is in heaven singing with the angels.  You will never be forgotten. Jeanene was teacher at Tutor Time to my 2 youngest girls, Elinor and Virginia. My husband Scott and I both loved our chats with Ms. Jeanene. She was a mom figure to all of us and we are grateful to have had her in our lives.  We will never forget her and her support and genuine love she showed to all of us.  Love you Ms. Jeanene! I worked with Jeanene for 2 years at Tutor Time. She not only taught me so much about caring for little ones but about life, as well. She would listen to any story and always had the best advice to give. Jeanene was truly a blessing to all that knew her.  She will be deeply missed. 

I worked with Jeanene at Tutor Time for several years. She was such a special lady - so motherly, with a sometimes sassy attitude (which I adored) and a strong opinion on raising babies (she would always give great advice). She was definitely our "work mom" and I cherished anytime I got to work in the baby room with her. She cared about others deeply and always checked in on you.  I remember her many times checking in on how things were going on in my life with certain things I'd mentioned but never expected her to remember. She was such a kind soul and will be missed by many.

I worked with Jeanene for 10 years at tutor time and she was the best work mom I have ever had. Little did I know when I started working there that I have actually known Jeanene my whole life. She came to realize that my aunt lived two doors down from her and she had known me since I was an infant. Crazy how the world works and reconnects you with people who will change you and that’s exactly what she did. We cared for so many babies in those years and she even cared for my daughter years later. I and many family’s trusted her with our most prized possessions and all of our families at work including my own grew to love her. She was an amazing person, she loved her family very much and always talked with such pride about her grandchildren. She is one amazing woman and I will miss her very much.

Jeanene was a remarkable person and a wonderful friend. We worked together for years and she made going to work fun and something I looked forward to every day. She was such a caring teacher to so many babies and the best coworker and friend. I will never forget the great conversations we had and how much we would laugh, both at work and outside of work. Jeanene taught me so much and she was such a joy to be around. She cared so much about her family and friends and I could always count on her to be there whenever I needed a friend to listen. I loved hearing her talk about how much she loved her family and it meant so much that she never forgot to ask me about my family and things going on in my life that most people would not even remember. I will miss helping her with crafts, sharing our love of baking supplies, and our long talks where she always gave me lots of great advice. Jeanene cared so much about people and she showed it every single day. I know that there are many lives that will not be the same without her. 

We are so sorry to hear of this.  Mrs. Jeanene was a Fantastic Lead teacher here at Tutor Time! The many families she touched throughout  years and the staff she trained will truly miss her. She was a rare jewel for sure. Thank you for sharing such an awesome woman with us. We will truly miss her!

Jeanene was one of my all time favorite customers. The best part of her placing an order was that we were able to spend time talking, laughing and catching up on kids, grandkids and life in general. She always brought light and laughter with her. I am so saddened to hear of the loss of this sweet soul. My heart goes out to Wendy and her family. This world will be a little less bright without her. 

Miss Jeanene was a cherished friend to our family. She was my sons infant room teacher and now, at almost 16, he still stayed in contact with her and considered her to be another grandma. We stopped in to see her whenever we were back in Canton. We are devastated to learn of her passing and are praying for her entire family ❤️ 

Jeanene and I have been friends for over 50 years. We have laughed together,  cried together and celebrated  many milestones together.  I will miss you my dear friend.

Dear Jeanene was our across-the-street neighbor, and a frequent customer at our small business, an artist market with handmade and vintage items just up the street. Jeanene often requested custom jewelry or custom sign work so that she could surprise and delight friends and relatives. It was always my PLEASURE to make her ideas come to life. Jeanene always acted like I was doing HER a favor every time she shopped, when she was actually encouraging ME every time she visited. I enjoyed learning about her network of friends and family, about how she participated in planning showers for relatives, about her quests for getting something unique for a special friend at work …

Jeanene truly cared about people, and she showed it. I don’t think she ever talked negatively about a person or situation - except glitter. She hated glitter, but I remember she was able to overcome her discomfort and made a cool winter scene during a class that required dropping some glitter into a jar to give the snow some sparkle. That was fun to watch!

Jeanene, we will keep an eye on Dave for you, and we will miss you so much. May your family be surrounded by comforting thoughts and prayers in your honor, and may God hold your family and friends close as they grieve.  Love you!

We were saddened to hear of the passing of our long time neighbor and friend Jeanene.  Over the years we shared some good chats and laughs.  She was a good mother and a loving wife to her husband David.  We share our sorrow with her daughters Melissa and Wendy and her son Matthew and husband David as well as her extended family.  Her presence will be missed in our neighborhood.
