Henry C. Scheel Jr., age 89, of Highland Twp. passed away July 20, 2013. Henry was a retired Detroit Fire Chief and a WWII Veteran, U.S. Army Air Force. Beloved husband of Shirley for 39 years. Loving father of Penelope (Dennis) Clark, the late Henry C. “Chris” Scheel III and step-father of the late Pamela (Lance) Peoples and Donna (Dave) Turner. Proud grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of the late Lawrence (the late Beatrice), the late Richard (the late Helen) and Doris (Herman) Sewick. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 3501 E. Highland Rd., Highland.
