Edward Reed Oliver, age 90, of Highland Township, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Edward worked at Ford Motor Company as a truck driver and was a Troy Fire Department retiree. He was a loving father, grandfather, and soon to be great-grandfather.
Edward was a loving father to his children George (Kittie) Oliver and Connie (David) Rooney. Treasured grandfather to Garth (Megan) Oliver and expecting great-grandson in March of 2025; Jack Rooney, and Lindsay (Keith) Galbraith. Edward was a proud uncle and a great uncle to many.
Edward was preceded in passing by his wife Loretta, his father Sidney and mother Elleanor Oliver, his brother Ronald (Rose), and his sisters Elleanor (John) and Violet (Keith).
An inurnment with military honors for Edward will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442.
