Donald Gerald MacDonald, age 65, of White Lake, was born February 11, 1958 in Detroit, and passed away June 19, 2023 in Pontiac. Beloved husband of Margaret (Johnston) MacDonald for 37 years. Loving father of Sean Lloyd (Amanda) MacDonald and Kyle Aaron (Jessica Fisher) MacDonald. Proud grandfather of Jaymeson Joseph MacDonald, Beckett Michael Thomas MacDonald, and baby boy on the way, Theodore James MacDonald. Cherished brother of L.B. (William) Rogers and Mindy (Bruce) Rogers Rohr. Dear friend of Jeff (Honor) Davis. Donald was preceded in passing by his parents, Lloyd and Betty June (Phelps) MacDonald; and his siblings, Allen MacDonald and Byron Brown. Donald will be missed by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00am (In State 10:00am) at the All Saints Lutheran Church, 12701 W. Highland Road, Hartland. After the service but before the burial, there will be a Memorial Luncheon held at the church. Burial will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00pm at White Lake Township Cemetery, White Lake Road and McKeachie Road, White Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in Donald's memory, or memorial contributions may be made to the All Saints Lutheran Church.
