Robert E. Robinson

Robert E. Robinson, age 84, of Highland, passed away September 7, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice; daughter: Carol Seward of Highland; son: James(Carla) Robinson of Hammond; three grandsons: Nick(Liz) Robinson of Hammond, Colin(Lisa) Robinson of Schererville, and Jimmy Seward of Highland. He was preceded in death by his son Richard Robinson in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9009 Kennedy Ave., Highland, Indiana with Rev. Arthur Burkman and Rev. Eric Kleinschmidt, officiating. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 4-8 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.(2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana. Mr. Robinson was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Highland. He was retired from Inland Steel after 24 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.
