Michael J. Hreha, age 84, of Dyer, IN passed away Friday March 6, 2015. Survived by his wife, Theresa of 61 years; two daughters: Diane Hreha of Highland, IN and Sandy Hoscheit of Dyer, IN. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 10:00 AM directly at St. Mary Church in Griffith (visitation at the church from 9:00 til time of service) with Rev. Charles Niblick officiating. Burial Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Mr. Hreha was a member of St. Mary church of Griffith, retired high school teacher of East Chicago Public schools, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion.
