James E. Pietrzak, age 68, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (nee Armendriz); two children: Craig Pietrzak and Melissa (Eric) Smolinski; two grandsons: Atticus and Cash Smolinski; two sisters: Joyce (Larry) Satmary and Jackie (David) Ruman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Don Rector officiating. Cremation will follow service. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, January 8, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home.
