Suzanne Stanton Stanton

Suzanne was born February 18, 1935, in High Point, a daughter of David Long Stanton and Lucille

Coltrane Stanton. She was a graduate of Stuart Hall, Staunton, VA (1951-1953) and UNCG (1953-1954).

She was a member of the Junior League of High Point and was married on June 22, 1963, to John

Stanton.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Stanton of Cary, NC, her son Harold Clark Bennett and wife Audrey K Bennett of Cary, NC, her daughter Maria Stanton Patterson and husband Simon T Patterson of Apex, NC, her brother David Allen Stanton of Elon, NC, and preceded in death by her sister, Mary Frances Stanton Divine. She has 5 grandchildren, Ryan Bennett, Paige Bennett Petre, Cassidy Bennett, Joshua Patterson, and Evan Patterson and 3 great grandchildren, Sophia Bennett, Hadley Bennett, and Felix Petre.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00am in Oakwood Cemetery, 512 Steele Street, High Point, NC.
