Robert Pugh Reddick Jr.

Mr. Robert Pugh Reddick Jr., age 83, passed away at home Friday February 28, 2014. He was born August 19, 1930, son of Robert Pugh Reddick Sr., and Annie Anderson Reddick. He served in the Korean War. Mr. Reddick was retired from Henredon-Schoonbeck in 1995. He was a member of Welch Memorial United Methodist Church where he served on the church council and Head of Trustees. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Lucy Coggins Reddick, having been married 52 years. Also proceeded in death by sisters Mildred Reddick and Martha Montgomery, one brother James Reddick. One surviving sister Sylvia Stanly.

Surviving are daughter Sandra Lawson and husband Rick, a son Craig Reddick, grandsons Derek McDaniel and wife Casey, Robert McDaniel and Adam Lawson, one great granddaughter Isabella Grace McDaniel born February 11, 2014. On June 1, 2003 he married Barbara Cecil Reddick and gained a second family. Daughter Dee Ann Pierce and Lisa Cecil-Glenn. Grandchildren Noel Cecil and wife Melodie, Anna Pierce and Lauren Glenn. Great grandchildren Taylor, Tresten, Alyssa and Cierra.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at Welch Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall. Memorial gifts in memory of Robert Pugh Reddick Jr. maybe made to Welch Memorial United Methodist Church at 2405 Bellemeade St. High Pint NC 27263.
