Gay Halker Yarber, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Gay was born in High Point, January 10, 1937, a daughter of the late Harry and Nell Sebastin Halker. She worked in the furniture industry her entire life as a sewer and retired from Thayer Coggin. Gay was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and baking. She was especially known for her lemon pound cake.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel "Bud" Yarber; three sons, Bobby Sechrest, Ray Cole and Scot Cole; ten grandchildren, Brittany, Ashlyn, Monica, Michelle, Abigail, Thomas, Madelyn, Courtney, Kristin and Carly; and numerous great-grandchildren.
