Mrs. Lewis was born in Hornell, NY on December 25, 1938 to Radcliffe S. and Dorotha W. Simpson Olin. She was employed with the St. Gobain Abrasives Company as a Customer Service Representative and retired after thirty years of service. Following her professional career, Mrs. Lewis served as Receptionist for a few years in the office of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she was a member. She was a devoted, loving, caring mother and grandmother. She dearly loved and appreciated the time she spent with her granddaughter Jessica, as they “grew up together”.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sharon Fessenden who lived in Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Bob Lodding of High Point, her granddaughter; Jessica Jakushev and husband Caleb of Alpharetta, GA. and her great grandson; Liam Jakushev. She has three nephews, Chris, Craig, and Mark Fessenden and a niece, Kim Phelps, all of Nashville, TN.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Joseph C. Zuschmidt, O.S.F.S., celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends in the Gathering Space of the church from 10:00am until 11:00 am prior to the service.
