My heart goes out to your family my friend! You were a class act with stories so great, they were almost unbelievable! From what I understand, you had slides and photos as proof of your outrageous tales. Most of your friends left this earth long before you George… 90 amazing years! I am grateful to have known you as a friend! May you RIP dear ole friend!

Our family and I  were so saddened to hear of your amazing Dad’s, Grandpa and Great Grandpa’s passing. George was one of the most mild-mannered, kind hearted, gentlemen I have had the privilege of knowing. He was a sharp dresser, and his smile lit up the room.  He used to always open the door for me during our many excursions (and there were many), and his love and pride for his family was first and foremost in his mind. George was always there for his family and those he cared about. He always treated me like a “daughter”, and I relied on him often for advice. I will truly miss our talks, but will always treasure the times spent with him, his amazing daughter, Georgina (who is like a sister to me), and his loving grandsons/, Nicholas and Anthony (my godsons) who we consider part of our extended family. May he rest in peace after a life well lived.

George was a very nice man, so kind and funny. I loved hearing his stories about all the travels and food he tried out in different countries. May he rest in peace and get to see all the beautiful things in the world from the best place, heaven ❤️

I knew George many years ago from the bagel business. We became friendly and I have to say he was one of the nicest guys in the business. Always a gentlemen, a rare occurrence these days.  A real stand up guy!  My condolences to the family.

George was our wonderful neighbor in NC for a number of years.  Being a big Yankees fan and living across the street from a rival Red Sox fan, every Christmas time, I would throw fuel on their fire by putting a Yankees shirt on the the Red Sox fan’s outdoor Christmas bear.  She knew I did it but always feigned surprise and outrage!  Lol!

George was a great neighbor

So sorry for your loss. He was an incredible human being. I loved being over at your house as a kid growing up together. He was like my second dad. Very sweet and a big heart he will be greatly missed by all. El

Daddy-O You were my best friend, my mentor, and my hero. We had so many good times together, from working at the bagel shop to watching the boys grow up. You always believed in me and supported me in everything I did. I’m proud to be your daughter and to carry on your legacy of strength and kindness. I will miss you every day, but I know you are watching over me. You made me who I am-Because you loved me I love you, Gi ox

George was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed. He was always up for an adventure and loved to travel. He was also a stylish and sophisticated man who always looked his best. He will be remembered for his zest for life and his kind and gentle spirit.

What a true gentleman! It’s been so long but I have such fond memories of growing up with John. The Tyburski family always opened their home to all of us and treated us all like sons; even when we were acting like the foolish teenagers we were. George was always a great role model - supportive and kind and helpful. Godspeed Mr. Tyburski.
