Bucky worked most of his life as an Architectural Wood Master Craftsman for Snow Lumber Company but retired from Rowland Woodworking in High Point in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, gardening, woodworking projects, FORDS, building Grandfather clocks, tinkering with lawn mowers and his greatest passion was spending time with his family and his cat “Casper.”
He leaves to cherish his loving memory of 51 years, his wife Opal Mills Cox of the home, his daughters Libby and her husband Randy Conrad of Kernersville and Lisa and her husband Phil Bernier of Trinity, grandchildren Tiffany Briggs and Terry Briggs and his fiance’ Ashley of High Point, Preston and Lauren Bernier of Trinity, Richard Conrad of Winston-Salem and Allen Conrad of Bethesda, MD, great grandchildren Tianna and Tripp of High Point, and his brother Bill Cox and wife Linda of High Point and his sister Shirley Anne Dyson of Kernersville. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his sister Betty Jean Breeden.
Until we meet again, you will be deeply missed and our world will never be the same. Visitation will be on Friday June 10th from 6:30 -8:30. Memorial service will be held at Sechrest in High Point by Reverend Edward LeCates on Saturday at 11.
