November 27, 1951 – September 7, 2023
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Patrick Coleman and Barbara Coleman Wallace.
Glenn is survived by his son Patrick Coleman and wife Kassie, and grandson Troy, of Medford, New York; special friend Jody Ratner of East Meadow, New York; brother Brian Coleman and wife Jennifer of Canton, Ohio; sister Rebecca Princehorn and husband Clay Cormany of Worthington, Ohio; nieces and nephews in Boston, Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio; and many friends.
Founder and owner of Coleman Audio, Glenn previously worked at Florida-based MCI both nationally and internationally and at Atlantic Records and Martin Audio, both in New York City. He annually participated in national conferences of the Audio Engineering Society (AES). A recognized problem solver in the audio world, Glenn developed new products as technology evolved. He regularly made trips to Sweetwater Sound, the largest online retailer of pro audio equipment in the United States, to share information about his products and learn what was needed in the audio world. He was proud that Coleman Audio would do just about anything for the customer. Finally, Glenn would want us all to know his slogan: “In the end it’s always analogue.”
