Evelyn Werner

Wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandma; Evelyn leaves behind her husband Bob, daughter Christine, son John, grandchildren, Ryan, Rob, Liam, Thomas and Shannon and great grandson Oliver. Her sons, Robert, Richard, Thomas and granddaughter Mary are predeceased.

Evelyn was a dedicated mother and homemaker whose favorite recent pastimes were words games and jeopardy. She was active in Our Lady of Mercy church and was one of the popular lunch ladies and library volunteer at the OLM school. Evelyn belonged to the Angels of Mercy at OLM church.

A visitation for Evelyn will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A visitation will occur Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, December 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 500 S Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801. An entombment will occur Monday, December 23, 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590.
