Ellen N. Butera

Ellen N. Butera, of Plainview, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 68 years old. Ellen was the beloved wife of Charles Butera, together, they built a beautiful life, full of love and cherished memories.

Ellen was the devoted mother of her three children: Christopher, Gregory, and Stephanie. She was a constant source of support and guidance, always offering her love, wisdom, and care. Ellen took immense pride in her family and enjoyed being an active part of their lives.

Ellen had a passion for travel. She loved exploring new destinations with her family, creating unforgettable experiences and memories along the way. Whether near or far, she found joy in discovering new places and cultures. She was also a lover of the beach, where she often found solace and joy in the waves and the sand, spending many summers with her loved ones.

Ellen’s warmth, kindness, and generosity of spirit were evident in all that she did. Her presence was a comfort to all who knew her, and her loss will be felt deeply by family, friends, and the community.

A memorial visitation for Ellen will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801.
