He was born on Sept. 19, 1942 to the late Richard Crowell Null and Evelyn Janette Yount Null in Catawba County. Ronald dedicated 51 years of service to Truck Driving before his retirement from Southeastern.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Brenda Miller Null of the home; his children, Timothy Null (Fran) of CT, Jeffrey Null (Vickie) of Hickory, Ronald Null, Jr. (Bridget) of Newton, Kimberly N. Leonard (Aaron) of Elizabethtown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Waugh and brother, Steven Null.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Aaron Leonard, Rev. Sam Leonard, and Pastor Tim Campbell will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
