ROBERTA “ROBBIE” MURPHY TAYLORSVILLE- Robbie Murphy, 83, passed away suddenly of natural causes on February 9, 2016. Born June 19, 1932 in Ozark, Arkansas, she was the daughter to the late Fred and Thelma Wilson. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, wildlife, reading and spending time with her family, friends, children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Roy. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jackie Murphy; children, Patricia Untied, Larry Newhall and wife Pepper and Carl Murphy and wife Sharon; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brother-in-laws; three sister-in-laws; and many other loving family members. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12pm at Catawba Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
