Claremont – Richard “Rick” Gerald Dockery, 67 of Claremont went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born on September 15, 1956 in Polk County, NC, Rick was the son of Eugene Tunney and Reva Jean Greene Dockery. Rick was a man of many talents with passions for cars, music and family. He loved to make music by playing his guitar for his family. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Rick is preceded in death by, his father, Eugene Dockery; two brothers, Randy and Roger Dockery.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his wife of forty-five years, Teri Chitwood Dockery; his two brothers, Rusty and wife, Carol Lee and Ronnie Dockery; a daughter, Charlene Dockery; a son, Cody
Dockery and wife, Sydney and a granddaughter, Addison Dockery.
