Paul Jones

HICKORY---Paul Jones, 80, passed away July 1, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Paul was born May 9, 1935 in Catawba Co. to the late Jasper Huey and Martha Leona Davis Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Floyd Jones; a brother Carl Jones; son, Kenneth Paul Jones and a half brother, Clarence Davis. He was a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, veteran of U. S. Army. Surviving is his son, Keith Jones and wife, Toni of Hickory; daughter, Pam Potts of Hickory; granddaughter, Sarah Jones; grandsons, Michael Potts, Jeremy Potts, Brian Kistler, Kenneth Paul Jones, Jr. and Johnathan Jones; step-daughter Barbara Laws; step-son James Buddy Clark; sister, Lib Teague and a brother, Bill Jones and wife, Ethel.

Services will be Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 3:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Foster officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 5, from 1:30 – 2:45 P.
