Hickory – Patricia Jeanne Parker Claffey, 87 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at Carolina Caring in Newton surrounded by her family.
Born on April 1st, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Patricia was the daughter of the late William Samuel and Julietta Hennessy Parker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, James J. Claffey. Patricia was also preceded in death by her son James A. Claffey and her sister Catherine Burns.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lorie Claffey; five grandchildren, Heidi Bush and husband, Erik, Matthew Zeiner and wife, Tarah Rose, Erik Zeiner and wife, Stephanie, Joshua Claffey and wife, Kylie and Bryan Zeiner and wife, Emma, PharmD; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Dianna Taggart and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Patricia’s name.
