Mee Vang

Hickory – Mee Vang, 100 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born on December 31st, 1923, in Laos, Mee was the daughter of the late Xia Ze Vang and Va Lee.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Shong Leng Lee, of 8 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Tuder Lee, Mong Lee, daughter in laws, Kia Thao, Yang Mee Lor, grandchildren, Chiamee Lee & Koua Lor (spouse), Mai Yia Lee, Mai Nou Lee, Paa Hnia Lee & Adam Hang (spouse), Wameng Lee & Alina Her (spouse), Chongtoua Lee & Beverly Lor (spouse), Kongh Lee & Melinda Yang (spouse), Kaiser Lee, Chaiyarad Lee, Cheng Vue, Zong Vue, Sue Vue & Blong Yang(spouse), Ken Vue, Joua Vue & Anthony Vang (spouse), great-grandchildren, Destiny Yang, Dexter Yang, Denise Yang, Devin Yang, Mason Lor, Yohan Lor, Ness Lor, Preston Lee, and Paityn Lee.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25th to Sunday, January 26th, 2024. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park after the service on Sunday at 3:00 pm.
