Kevin Ray Huffman

Kevin was born in Catawba County on September 20, 1978 to the late Kathy Sue Huffman.

He is survived by his wife Denise Huffman of the home; children, Cody Ray Huffman, Lily Michelle Huffman, Joseph Avery Huffman, and Lila Rose Huffman all of the home; sisters Emily Huffman, Cammy Huffman Lippard and Amanda Huffman; brothers Bobby Huffman and Adam Huffman. He is also survived by his Mothers-in-Law, Reta Queen (Eddie Nunn) of Catawba and Anna Tyndall of Louisburg, Sisters-in-Law, Betty Tyndall (Eric Punch) of Maiden, Chrystal Tyndall of Louisburg, Brother-in-Law, Charles Tyndall of Louisburg, and many nieces and nephews.

Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He also enjoyed performing yardwork, keeping flower gardens and occasionally growing vegetables. He worked for years in furniture and small engine repair. He enjoyed cooking, particularly trying new recipes. His love for his wife, children and family was unconditional. Kevin was a selfless man who would help anyone who needed help. He never met a stranger and to know Kevin was to love him.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 3:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home with Reverend Wilford Walls officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service.
