Kenneth was born November 30, 1948 in Catawba County to the late Clarence and June Scarbrough Huffman.
Kenneth retired as owner and operator of Ken’s Corner Café and later worked for Four Peas restaurant as a cook, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Huffman and wife Barbara of Hickory, a nephew Curtis Huffman of Lake Norman, three nieces, Lauren Huffman, Nicole Spatz and husband Jonathan and Lori Klingensmtih and husband Robert, all of Hickory, Three great nieces, Gabby Spatz, of Hickory, Sydney and Savanna Huffman of Greensboro NC, and great nephew Mick Klingensmith of Hickory.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday the 16th of August at 4:00pm at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Mo. Synod with the Reverend David Ziehr officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday August 16th at the church from 2:45 to 3:45 pm.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military graveside honors conducted by The American Legion Post #48.
